CS-1100

AUTOMATIC STRAIGHTENING AND CUTTING

Straightening and cutting stiff cable materials in one controlled process.

What the machine does

The CS-1100 processes cable material in three steps. First, the material is guided into the machine. Next, it is straightened in a controlled rotary straightening process. Finally, it is cut to the programmed length.

The result is a straight, accurately cut product with consistent quality from batch to batch.

For what material or production problem

The CS-1100 is designed for stiff and complex cable types that are difficult to straighten and cut by hand. In these applications, manual processing often leads to variation in straightness, cut length and overall product quality.

This makes the machine especially relevant for manufacturers working with demanding cable materials, strict tolerances and repeatable production requirements.

Why this is better than manual processing

Manual straightening and cutting takes time and often depends heavily on operator experience. That can lead to variation between products, more rework and less predictable output.

The CS-1100 reduces that dependency by automating both steps in one controlled process. This gives manufacturers:

  • More consistent straightness and cut length
  • Less manual handling
  • Fewer process variations
  • Improved repeatability
  • A more stable production flow

Technical characteristics

The CS-1100 combines a precision straightening unit with a dedicated cutting system for reliable processing in industrial environments.

Key specifications

  • Machine dimensions: 1100 x 600 x 300 mm
  • Cable diameter range: standard Ø1.0 mm to Ø8.0 mm
  • Straightening method: rotary straightener
  • Cutting method: grinding disc
  • Length tolerance: 0.25%
  • Power supply: 230 V at 50 Hz / 110 V at 60 Hz
  • Pneumatic connection: NW5.5 (Orion)
  • CE-certified

Monitoring, logging and service

The CS-1100 can be equipped with integrated monitoring and machine data logging. During operation, the system collects data on machine usage, performance and possible deviations.

This helps operators and service teams to:

  • Identify issues earlier
  • Support troubleshooting
  • Plan maintenance more effectively
  • Improve process stability over time

The machine can also generate log files and service-related notifications, making it easier to maintain uptime and replace parts at the right moment.

Applications and industry background

The CS-1100 is part of the AXITEC CableStream family: machines for the accurate processing of cable, wire and tube materials.

The machine was developed in close cooperation with TMF, based on a practical demand from the MI-cable industry. That collaboration resulted in a solution tailored to applications where precision, repeatability and material control are critical.
