As a Mechanical Engineer, you play a crucial role in the design, development, and realization of mechatronic systems. You are the link between concept and reality, being involved in both design and prototyping processes.
What will you do:
In this versatile role, you will be responsible for designing, analyzing, and realizing complex systems:
- Design and development of mechatronic systems, including mechanical, electronic, and software components.
- Create 3D CAD designs and manage volume models, tolerances, and engineering changes.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to turn product concepts into working prototypes.
- Test and validate prototypes and production models in our field lab to ensure they meet specifications and standards.
- Develop test processes and perform technical analysis and simulations to optimize performance.
- Create and review technical drawings, plans and specifications using CAD software such as SolidWorks and SEE Electrical.
- Plans, conceptualizes and independently creates mechanical designs for new products.
- Generate working prototypes for beta testing and customer demonstrations.
- Maintain documentation and technical drawings of all designs and modifications.
- Design for production: ensuring that designs are maintainable and producible, and meet availability requirements.
You are involved in the full product life cycle: from concept design to prototyping, testing and production.
What we offer:

- Salary between €3,500 and €5,000 gross per month, depending on experience.
- 40 vacation days (25 statutory and 15 ADV).

What do you bring:
- A completed technical education at college or university level in Mechatronics, Mechanical Engineering, or similar field.
- Minimum of 2 years experience in a similar role within mechatronics.
- Experience with CAD software such as SolidWorks and SEE Electrical, and electronic design tools.
- Strong problem-solving skills and analytical approach to technical challenges.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and oral, in Dutch and English.
- Ability to work and manage projects both independently and as part of a team.
